Equip national believers to initiate church-planting movements
How do you plant churches that can survive, mature and multiply in places where believers are few and opposition may be fierce? And what about places where foreign missionaries cannot go or may be forced out on short notice? Wherever you go, how do you make disciples who make disciples who make disciples?
We train Pioneers missionaries and local partners to devote themselves to prayer and dependence on God. We help them learn to recognize people of peace—those who are seeking spiritual truth. They then come alongside these seekers and invite them to find answers in the scriptures. Everyone who believes also learns to share what they learn with others.
Pioneers members and local believers worldwide use these reproducible methods to start church movements that are resilient. The disciples who are part of these small churches root themselves in scripture, prayer and relationship. There’s no silver bullet. And no formula for success in every context. But we’re starting to see how God’s Word and His Spirit can transform whole communities.
Working together, we can build a workforce of gospel emissaries spread the Good News to the ends of the earth.
In 2019, Pioneers held 149 disciple-making training events, equipping and coaching 2,716 missionaries and local believers. This has led to thousands of disciples gathered to study and apply scripture to their lives. Some of these groups have multiplied to the sixth and seventh generation! Working together, we can build a workforce of gospel emissaries spread the Good News to the ends of the earth.
