Sharing Christ’s love by serving the forgotten in Ethiopia.
Inadequate basic needs, inaccessibility of health services, age-related stigma and isolation have reduced the elderly in Ethiopia to poverty, despair and loss of hope.
For the last eight years, Pioneers workers have served Ethiopian elders through a holistic program, which includes:
- Socialization of the elderly
- Care for those who are immobile, physically handicapped or home-bound
- Access to healthcare
- Self-sustaining financial assistance
Through this project, we estimate to impact around 1,000 elders in Ethiopia. Our hope is that care for these vulnerable and forgotten people will point many to the love and care of Jesus.
