How are we doing?

Though progress on such a task is not always easy to measure, after more than 40 years of work, we saw that Pioneers teams—with members from around 80 countries—were engaging 400-500 people groups on six continents.

The Challenge

What would it take to engage 250 more people groups—in a single decade?

In 2023, we were challenged to unite with our colleagues worldwide to share the gospel in a growing number of unreached places and with people who have yet to hear it—to engage 250 more people groups with the gospel in the next 10 years.

To do that, we must grow and change.

Create new ways for people to engage the unreached
Embrace new digital strategies to recruit, collaborate, share the gospel and make disciples
Partner with the American church in ways we haven’t done before
Recruit, equip and send more missionaries from Africa, Asia and beyond
Build and nurture healthy, long-term partnerships with other ministries
Prioritize leadership development at every level of our movement

A vision this big requires everyone.

Through Embark250, we believe God will reinvigorate our commitment to engage unreached peoples and places with the gospel by raising up a new wave of followers of Jesus who join us in our mission through new and creative pathways of participation.
