Pulpits. Bulletins. A worship band. What do you really need to be a church? Or to begin one? And when we’re talking about cross-cultural church planting and church-planting or disciple-making movements, well, is that the same as starting churches within your denomination or in your own culture? Or could it be a different thing altogether? Maybe you aren’t the pastor-type, but you have the vision to see the capital-C Church flourish among all the nations. And you wonder if there is a place for you in making it happen. Organizations involved in starting churches may use the same words and Bible references. It’s all good. But it’s not all the same.
