Many churches rely on an individual “call” of potential cross-cultural missionaries as the sole means of identification and confirmation of goers. Greg Carter has been a pastor in the areas of Christian Education, Outreach and Global Engagement for over 30 years in two different churches and was a missionary to Japan for 3 years. He has an undergraduate degree in Business Administration and an MDiv in Missions and Evangelism. He has published two books on the role of the local church in preparing and sending new missionaries as well as published articles in Evangelical Missions Quarterly and other missions publications. Greg’s passion is helping churches engage in the lives of potential cross-cultural workers to develop knowledge, skills and character for successful overseas service.
