Many get their mission fix through mission trips or live vicariously through those they support. Others plug into outreach and service opportunities close to home. But what if your skills could take you to the ends of the earth without leaving home?

Andrew is a missionary starting a business abroad and needs someone to help him choose an accounting system. Kim just needs help setting up a spreadsheet to track critical details related to her ministry. Jack leads a ministry in Southeast Asia and wants someone with marketing expertise to help him identify low-cost options to host a website and manage email communication.
Meanwhile, our churches are full of skilled believers who may not even realize that their web design, accounting, marketing or IT background might be a benefit to the missionaries they care about.

A Global Switchboard
That’s why Pioneers has helped launch and come alongside Switchboard, an innovative new organization that connects believers with ministry needs worldwide so those who want to help and those who need assistance can find each other. We want to see more people who might never go to the field make strategic, meaningful connections with those who do. This digital breakthrough will encourage our front-line workers and advance the gospel globally.
Switchboard offers two ways to volunteer:
Consultations: Volunteers agree to a one-time, usually one-hour virtual meeting to provide a ministry with expertise and guidance on a specific challenge.
Virtual Roles: Volunteers become part of the team and provide ongoing support a few hours a week or a few hours a month.
Would you or someone you know be interested in volunteering? It’s easier than you may think. Setting up a profile takes just a few minutes, and anyone can browse opportunities. There’s no charge (or payment) for volunteers. Listing volunteer opportunities doesn’t cost the ministries anything. It’s all covered by donations.
