Developing a Sending Church Paradigm
Jesus has commissioned the church to make disciples of all nations. In order to accomplish that goal, local churches need to grow in their sending capability, and capacity. A fair question to ask of ourselves should be: “If every church’s global missions vision looked exactly like ours, would the Great Commission ever be completed?” Nathan Sloan will help us explore the fundamental requirements needed in order to answer this question. We will examine the core elements of how to establish, develop, engage and multiply as a proactive sending church.

Nathan Sloan
Before his current role as executive director at Upstream Sending, Nathan led global missions at Sojourn Church in Louisville, Kentucky and served as one of their teaching pastors. Under his leadership, Sojourn sent numerous members out as mid and long-term missionaries, including six church-based teams.
Nathan and his wife Sarah were also cross-cultural missionaries in Kathmandu, Nepal, discipling young leaders and working with an unreached people group.
Nathan holds a doctorate of missiology (DMiss) from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and is the author of You Are Sent: Finding Your Place in God’s Global Mission, Multisite Missions Leadership, and Lent and Missions: A 40-Day Devotional. Nathan is married to Sarah, and they have two children.

Pioneers does not provide childcare for Church Partner Forums.
Where is the event located?
The Church Partner Forum takes place at the Pioneers campus in Orlando, FL. Our physical address is 10123 William Carey Drive Orlando, FL 32832.
What should I bring?
Pioneers is pleased to provide your lodging, meals, and resources during the forum. Pack a bag for a two day stay with whatever supplies you'd need.
Will I be sharing a room?
All rooms are double occupancy. If you would like your own room, there is a $100 charge a night during the forum.
What if I can't stay the entire time?
If you cannot participate in the entire forum we respectfully request that you register for a future forum. If you find you cannot participate after registering for this event, please contact Taryn.Hackworth@orlandoteam.com. We can then fill your place with someone on our waiting list.
My church is located outside of the US. Can we still participate?
Unfortunately, we cannot accept your registration. We can only accommodate those within the US.
How many members of my church can attend?
As your host, Pioneers is honored to offer each church 4 registrations free of charge.
Can I bring my spouse?
Yes, you may bring your spouse. Please make sure to fill out a seperate registration for them so we can prepare accommodations for them.
