Part of our WorldViews children’s mission curriculum, this video provides a brief, understandable overview of what Buddhist people believe. Many Buddhists live in Asian countries, such as Thailand, Myanmar and China. Buddhists do not believe in God. They believe that the universe was never made. It has always existed and will always exist. Buddhists believe the reason there is sadness in the world is because people want things they can’t have. If we can learn how to live rightly, we will be able to stop having desires, and then we will not be sad or suffer anymore. This way of living is called the Eightfold Path. Watch the video to learn more about Buddhist people.
