Daniel got his MBA and served as Vice-President of Marketing and Operations for an eCommerce retail company. In this role, he built the marketing strategy, managed the website and created captivating content. But Daniel wasn’t just a businessman, he was a believer. As a child of God, he longed for God to be worshipped by the unreached in the Middle East. So Daniel joined Pioneers to use his marketing experience to find Middle Easterners interested in the gospel. He’s grateful the skills in strategy, technology, and content development he used for a retail company can now be used by God to speed up church planting.
Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. (2 Corinthians 5:20)
Fred doesn’t have his MBA, but he has tech skills. He heard about unreached people who first learned of the gospel through YouTube. He’d created YouTube videos for his software company, but what about running marketing campaigns for Jesus? Fred joined Pioneers and now manages a marketing campaign with Google ads that direct the unreached to a website he built. There they can watch videos of Jesus and then meet up with someone in person to discover the great love of Jesus.
Your Skills Are Needed!
Pioneers has decades of experience in media outreach, especially in the Middle East. We have seen thousands discipled online. Many of them join small house churches in their communities. But now we are working to extend these strategies to other parts of the world, and there’s a lot of work to be done. Our goal is to see a quarter of our more than 300 Pioneers teams leveraging digital media strategies by the year 2025—and more than that in years to come. Many Pioneers are retooling and getting trained to use these approaches. But we would love to send them more specialists with proven skills in media creation and content marketing, along with a passion to engage with people who otherwise may have little access to the gospel.
